My Husband and I went to Boise , the Capitol of Idaho, AWSOME CITY. Downtown is full of unique shops and restaurants.
This capital city has many parks and works of art on the Boise river. Art Deco buildings, and a beautiful downtown Art Museum featuring contemporary works of art. There are many outdoor sculptures. The Old Idaho Penitentiary contains 19th-century prison cells, gallows plus historic military weaponry.
Belt is a beloved park. Tree-lined pathways follows the river through the heart of the city. It spans 46 miles.
We had dinner at Fork Restaurant built in an old bank building. The food and wine were exceptional. You must try the asparagus fries! The Capital building is in the middle of downtown. Such a great place to visit. We look forward to going back soon!
