Where Should I Visit? | Madison Wisconsin
Updated: Apr 15
Madison, the Capital city of Wisconsin west of Milwaukee, is best known for its domed Capitol building which sits between lakes Mendota and Monona.
The Capital building sits in the center of the city and is beautifully lit up at night. So incredible!
The University of Wisconsin is also located downtown which means lots of restaurants, festivals and action in downtown. So many things to do and see!
Many museums to visit. What a great place to go for a day or two!
We also visited the Oshkosh Museum (about a 1:30 drive) AMAZING!!
We stayed 2 nights at an Airbnb in Menasha (close to Appleton). LOVLEY! Played a round at Reid Golf Course and yes they do rent clubs, SO Wonderful Ate Dinner at Fratelloes Waterfront Restaurant, DELICIOUS!
