Airlines have stopped service to China. If you had travel plans or tickets purchased, you should request a refund or change for a late date. There is no service fee for any of that.
If you are flying in the next few months here are some tips about what you need to be aware of. I am an airport agent and know nothing about this virus however I do know that airplanes in general are dirty places and need to be wiped down with Clorox wipes, tray tables, seat belts, overhead bins, window shades.
I have seen many passenger wearing the face mask thinking it will prevent the virus. According the the CDC, it does not. The best prevention is washing your hands and keeping your hands away from your face.
Also, please keep in mind that all hygiene is important when traveling. Do not put boarding passes in your mouth or anything in your mouth, that is just gross. Please be mindful that you are in close quarters with others. Please bath and wear clean cloths when traveling as a courtesy to others around you.
