Santa Fe is the capital of New Mexico. It was founded several thousand years ago by indigenous people that built villages on the current sight of the city. The architecture is Adobe style, everything is Adobe! It has hundreds of Art galleries to explore. Downtown is beautiful. You are in the Cristo Mountains.
Within driving distance is Los Alamos, full of amazing museums.. Many state Parks, Bandelier (our family explored it, WOW!) Taos, ski resort (another place we explored, worth the trip!
You must visit this city to know how special it is. The weather is great, the locals were wonderful, the buildings are so Adobe......family joke. LOVED this place!
